This 3m LC-LC OM1 Multimode Fibre Optic Cable (Blue) offers a reliable and cost-effective solution for upgrading your network from copper. Fibre patch cables utilize thin, flexible glass fibres to transmit data, voice, and video at high speeds across the globe, experiencing significantly less interference than traditional copper patch leads. The OM1 multimode fibre construction allows for effective data transmission from Ethernet 10Mbit/s up to 10Gbit/s Gigabit Ethernet.

Fibre optic cables require less amplification to maintain signal strength, enabling them to reliably transmit data over longer distances. 4Cabling's OM1 multimode fibre optic cables are immune to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), making them ideal for use in patch panels to connect outlets and terminal equipment.

These multimode fibre optic cables are constructed using Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) materials, conforming to IEC, EIA TIA, and Telcordia standards. The 2mm oversleeving provides added durability. Each cable features a UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) connector and is suitable for cross-connect patching, backbone applications within buildings, termination enclosures for equipment patching, and direct equipment-to-equipment patching.

Key features include conformance to ISO/IEC 11801, individual labeling for easy lead tracing, stringent quality control during manufacturing, and a factory test report included with each lead. These fibre optic cables conform to ITU-651 and TIA/EIA492AAAD standards. Duplex configurable assemblies are available for LC, SC, ST & SC/A, as well as MTRJ patch leads. All ends are polished and individually inspected to ensure proper polishing. This cable supports high-speed multi-channel data, voice, and video applications.

Fantastic Performer - Quiet and Looks Great!

recently upgraded my aging GTX 1060 to the Asrock AMD Radeon RX 6600 Challenger White 8GB, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the performance boost! Games that used to stutter on medium settings now run buttery smooth on high or even ultra at 1080p. I was particularly impressed with how quiet this card is. The 0dB Silent Cooling really works - during normal use and even in less demanding games, the fans don't spin at all. When they do kick in, they are barely audible compared to my old card.

Installation was straightforward, and the drivers from AMD were easy to install. The white design of the card also looks fantastic in my case and adds a nice touch. I've been playing titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Forza Horizon 5, and the RX 6600 handles them all beautifully at my 1080p 144Hz monitor. While I haven't tried much 1440p gaming yet, early tests suggest it's definitely viable for many games at reasonable settings.

We recently upgraded our network infrastructure with the Cisco Meraki Catalyst C9300L-24UXG-4X-M switch, and the difference has been night and day. As a growing tech startup, we were starting to feel the limitations of our older gigabit switches, especially with the increasing demand from our developers and the adoption of faster Wi-Fi 6 access points. This Meraki switch has been a fantastic investment.

The Good:

Blazing Fast Speeds: The 10 Gigabit mGig ports are incredible! Our developers who work with large codebases and virtual machines have noticed a significant improvement in their network speeds. Connecting our new Wi-Fi 6 access points to these ports has also unlocked their full potential, providing much faster and more reliable wireless connectivity throughout the office.
Effortless Cloud Management: The Meraki dashboard is a dream. Setting up the switch was incredibly easy with zero-touch provisioning. The interface is intuitive and provides a clear overview of our network health, port status, and connected devices. Managing VLANs and making configuration changes is now a breeze compared to our previous CLI-based setup.
Powerful PoE: The uPoE support is a huge plus. We've been able to power our latest high-performance wireless APs and even some new security cameras without needing separate power injectors. The ample PoE budget gives us the flexibility to add more powered devices in the future without worrying about capacity.
Future-Proofing Our Network: Knowing that this switch supports multi-gigabit speeds and has high-speed 10G uplinks gives us peace of mind that our network is ready for future bandwidth demands. Things to Consider (Minor Points):

Stacking Kit is Separate: We plan to add another switch in the future for redundancy and increased port density, so we'll need to purchase the stacking kit separately. It would have been nice if a basic kit was included.
